Day 3 – Dives to the wreck ‘Barco Hundido’ and coral garden in the Rincón Bay

After breakfast, first dive to the wreck ‘Barco Hundido’. This is a cargo ship more than 80m long that sank about 30 years ago, about 2.5km off the coast of Las Galeras. The dive takes place at a depth of 14 to 20m, where huge barracudas and American stingrays can be observed. The second dive takes place in the coral garden in the Rincón Bay, which consists of large and old coral rocks. We dive to a depth of 6 to 11m, where red cushion sea stars and stingrays can be admired. Return and arrival in Las Galeras at about 1:00 pm.

Day 4 – Dives to ‘Piedra Bonita’ and ‘La Herradura’ at the Cape of Cabrón

After breakfast, transfer to the coral tower ‘Piedra Bonita’, the most famous dive site of Cabo Cabrón. The tower is located in the north of the cape, starts at a depth of 7m and drops down to 55m. It is a breathtaking dive site where you have the chance to swim with hawksbill sea turtles, Carangidae and schools of Creole wrasses. The second dive takes place at the ‘La Herradura’ reef, which we reach after about 15min by boat. Situated east of the Cape of Cabrón, this horseshoe-shaped reef is the best dive site to see eagle rays. Return and arrival in Las Galeras at about 1:00 pm.

Day 5 – Dives to ‘Los Carriles’ and the coral labyrinth at the Cape of Samaná

After breakfast, 20min boat trip to the corals of ‘Los Carriles’, the largest coral area of Samaná with 200 square meters. From a depth of 18m the first dive starts and goes down to a depth of 35m, where huge barracudas, moray eels and green stingrays can be observed. The second dive takes place in the coral labyrinth at the Cape of Samaná, which is reached after a 15min boat trip. The excellent labyrinth consists of various coral towers, which reach to a depth of 15m. Our dive takes place mainly at a depth of 8 to 12m, where a variety of eagle rays roam. Return and arrival in Las Galeras at about 1:00 pm.

Day 6 – Dives to ‘Tibisi 1 & Tibisi 2’ at the Cape of Cabrón

After breakfast, 30min boat trip to the western part of the Cape of Cabrón. Located in a well protected area, the two coral cliffs ‘Tibisi 1 & Tibisi 2’ are located, where 2 dives are done. The dive sites are considered as examples of the fascinating coral fauna in this part of the Atlantic and are extremely popular with divers. The sea in general is very calm and you enjoy a wonderful view. The dives start at a depth of 5m and go up to 40m. Besides an impressive underwater variety, you can admire sea turtles, rays, barracudas and porcupinefish. Return and arrival in Las Galeras at about 1:00 pm.
